New POE16R-1AFG6-2-R Supports 2.5 Gigabit Data Speeds
Fremont, CA — Phihong, a leading global supplier of OEM power conversion solutions, has released a 15.4W, single port wall-mounted Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) injector that supports data speeds of 2.5 Gbit/s. The POE16R-1AFG6-2-R wall mount injector utilizes field-replaceable AC power plugs (sold separately) and is designed to power IEEE802.3af compliant applications including, IP telephones, wireless network access points, Bluetooth® access points, security cameras, and IP print servers.
The POE16R-1AFG6-2-R meets the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Level VI Efficiency requirement for external power supplies, Canada’s Amendment 14 to the Energy Efficiency Regulations for External Power Supplies in the Canada Gazette, Part II, Australia’s Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards, and New Zealand’s Minimum Energy Performance Standards.
The new injector operates from 90V to 264V AC line voltage, complies with Class B conducted and radiated emissions, is equipped with over-current, over-voltage and short circuit protection features, and is certified to UL, CE, and RCM regulatory approval markings. The POE16R-1AFG6-2-R wall mount injector has a non-vented case that measures 80mm x 45mm x 33mm, weigh 114g and feature diagnostic LED indicators to communicate connection statuses.
